CLAS12 - CT meeting 10 October 2013 Elec boxe µm tube HV dispatch Barrel B6 flange barrel forward

CLAS12 micromegas tracker news. New planning Delivery mid 2015 of B2 (two layers) and forward Delivery mid 2016 of B6 (6 layers). The µm tube + electronics are the same from B2 to B6 (compatible with Si4) Only the barrel flange change when going from B2 to B6. Forward stays the same. All detectors (barrel and forward) will be equipped with resistive technologies using serigraphy process. All detectors will be manufacture at CERN.

3D study Since June the forward vs keepin was reduced: 35 mm were gain on the 40 mm needed Smaller attachment to barrel More dense stack of disk. Still missing 5.25 mm vs HTCC

Physics angle The angle of the forward are: 8,38° to 28,36°
