Position flange to the length of the uterus as measured by the sound

Load the IUD into the insertion tube by pushing the slider up

Partially insert the tube until the flange is about 2 cm from the os

Partially release the IUD by sliding the slider down to the mark Partially release the IUD by sliding the slider down to the mark. (it clicks)

Fully insert the IUD by pushing the insertion tube up to the fundus

Release IUD by sliding the slider down to the bottom

Withdraw the insertion tube
