Monday-Oct. 2nd Teacher Planning Day (No School) Book Fair Week *********************** Science Fair will be announced soon – Start looking for a great and unusual , really cool science fair project Dear Families, We will be reading, about inventors. The stories are, “Mary Anderson’s Great Invention” and “ All Aboard”. The genre is biography, and the skills we will focus on will be cause & effect, metaphors, and ask and answer questions. Science: Students will continue learning about matter and will be assigned their first S.T.E.A.M. projects. Social Studies: Students are continuing to work on map skills. Students will be finishing Chapter 2, Graphing and beginning Ch. 3, Understanding Multiplication. Students are required to use the Reflex computer program everyday. They should begin working on their multiplication & division facts (a requirement for 3rd grade).
