Camp Co-op is now underway! GICNS Newsletter 08.2017 September is approaching quickly and so is the new school year! We welcome all of our new and returning co­op families to the 2017/­2018 school year, filled with discovery, learning, and growing. This is the first of our bi-monthly newsletters to help keep you updated with important school information. There is also a bulletin board, just inside the front doors to the school, where information will be posted. Enrollment: There are still spots available in both classes for this school year! If you know of anyone looking for a preschool please send them to www.gicns.com for more information and an application. School Supply List: Each student is asked to bring the following supplies to school with them on their first day of class. Important Dates: Parent orientation: Monday, Sept. 11, at 6:30pm. School Start Days: The MWF (4's) class starts Wednesday, September 13th. The T/Th (3's) class starts Thursday, September 14th. MWF (4's Class) ● 1 container chlorox clean up wipes ● 1 pack/box of baby wipes ● 2 rolls of paper towels ● 2 pack of glue sticks ● 1 roll of scotch tape T/Th (3’s Class) ● 1 package of brown paper bags ● 1 package of copy paper ● 2 black sharpie markers ● 1 hand soap regular or foaming ● 1 package of 3-5 oz. size cups (bathroom size) Camp Co-op is now underway! Its not too late to join us for our week of “Color your world” fun & Adventure! Join us August 14th-18th.

September Class Participation Schedule: GICNS Newsletter 08.2017 Participation: Open Board Positions: Thank you to those who have already selected a board position. Participating on a committee (or sitting on the Board) is required for each family. Contact us at gicoopns@gmail.com if you are interested in joining the board, or have any questions. By being part of the school board, you can fulfill your cooperative commitment for the year! The following positions are open on our school board: ● Vice President ● Social Chairman ● Treasurer As a reminder, tuition is split into 3 equal amounts of $383.33 for MWF and $316.66 for T/Th and is due August 1st, November 1st, and February 1st. If you have not yet sent in your August 1st payment, please mail a check to: Grand Island Cooperative Nursery School PO Box 608 Grand Island, NY 14072 Tuition: September Class Participation Schedule: Below is the September participation schedule. Parents (and/or guardians) assist the teachers in the classroom on a rotating basis and participate in the classroom activities along with providing snack for the class that day. MWF (4’s) Wed.
