My Town My Town I live in Artemovsky, Sverdlovsk region, Russia. My town isn’t very old. It is 70 years old. The town was named after Artem (F.A. Sergeev), a Russian revolutionary. Artemovsky is a small town. 73 000 people live there.

My Town My town lies on a small river called Bobrovka. There are some bridges over the river.

My Town The town’s streets are long and straight.

My Town The central street of Artemovsky is Lenin Street. There you can see a department store, a market, a shopping mall, the Gornyak cinema and a lot of nice shops. At the end of the street there’s the town library and the Natural History museum.

My Town If you go straight ahead along Lenin Street you’ll see the town square. On one side of the square there’s the town administration building, a hotel, a restaurant and a café. On the other side there is a monument to Lenin and a club.

My Town This is Mir Street, another central street in Artemovsky. There’s a post office, a lyceum, a college, two minimarkets, a drug store, a cafe and many shops.

My Town In Artemovsky there are many monuments.

My Town We also have a Job Center, many clubs, schools, hospitals and banks.

My Town There’re three large plants in my town.

My Town In Artemovsky there is a new and nice railway station, a swimming-pool and some churches. I’m proud of my town and its people.
