National Connectivity Projects and Programs National Broadband Network eGovernment Services and Applications Free WiFi Access for the Countryside Rural Impact Sourcing and Literacy Programs Integrated infostructure to address both the demand-side and supply-side issues governing the broadband ecosystem Hosting an integrated government service center, to provide businesses necessary assistance on issues and citizen services To utilize the connectivity for setting up online businesses, or engaging in technopreneurship for social mobility Spread the economic potentials of digital entrepreneurship especially in the countryside Achieve a faster and reliable connection for the Philippines, better access to information and learning through ICT, and an improved access to livelihood and work opportunities A gateway unifying all web-based government content, to avoid long queues in delivering government services to the citizens and businesses, and other government agencies Providing free broadband internet access to about 13,000 identified public places including plazas and parks, public libraries, schools, government hospitals, train stations, airports and seaports Position the government as partner of the community in conducting ICT advocacy and capacity building programs anchored toward creating a nation of innovators and technopreneurs
