Birth *William McKinley was born on January 29,1843 in Niles, Ohio.

Child hood *McKinley serves children and families from birth to age 5 and a variety of programs of families with young children .

Graduates *At age 25 he came Albany, one of the leading city’s in the U.S at he time to study the science of the law. At Albany law school , he attended lectures by its three faculty members and studied closely the judicial decisions they cited.

Became president *He became president on September 14th 1901 *He was elected in congress in 1876

When he lead congress * McKinley entered Ohio Politics in 1864 and rose through the ranks as a republican winning election to the U.S congress in 1876.

When he got married * In January 25th William marries Ida Suxtonin in 1871

When he became a veteran * He was the last Civil War to become a veteran and become president.

When he died * He died on October 29th 1901 and got shot by a firearm

When the civil war began * The Civil war began when William was 18 in 1861 April 21 ended May 9 1865.
