FEAR is a natural reaction to the threat of physical or emotional PAIN

The #1 FEAR is the fear over what others think of you

FEAR causes us to avoid problems rather than solve problems

Meeting and solving problems gives life MEANING

The only certain way to overcome fear is through FAITH

The only certain way to overcome fear is through FAITH LOVE

God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness on the day of judgment, because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear . . . 1John 4:16-18

JESUS confronts and overcomes both our irrational and rational fears

With JESUS the only rational fear is the FEAR of the LORD

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? Romans 8:31-32

The only thing we need to fear from GOD is trying to solve life’s problems without HIM

GOD’S perfect love casts out FEAR!
