How you can support your son or daughter: Encourage them to ask questions (face-to-face, email, Remind 101) and seek out writing conferences. Help them to know their resources (website, library, computer lab, peers, me!) … and how to credit them. Provide them with texts of all kinds. Talk to them about what they’re reading, writing and thinking.
