What is the Internet? The internet is a global network of millions of computers that are linked to share information, news and opinions. Web pages are written in a special computer language Anyone can create a webpage!

Internet Safety – Reliable Sites Not everything you see on the internet is true. Anyone can make a website. Watch out for opinions that are presented as facts, especially on science pages. Many websites contain information that is incorrect.

Navigating the WWW Buttons Buttons tell the computer what to do. These are common buttons Play buttons: If a video is on a web page, you can play the video by clicking the button
