Petya I. Edwards Foundation Presentation by: Christian Ortiz, Cailee Dennis, and Rony Mery Roy

Who We Are The Petya I Edwards Foundation is a non-profit organization with one goal: To empower families to take control of their situation and prevent homelessness. They believe you don't have to go abroad to find families that need help. People in the community are struggling, and together, we can help. Every child deserves a chance to live in a stable home and every family deserves a chance to find hope. That is what they offer.

How You Can Help Support a Family Support a family and see their lives change- Unlike most organizations, they encourage their supporters to actively become part of the lives of the families you are helping. The organization is about empowering one another through support – support a family, support your community, and become the change you want to see in the world today! Every child deserves a chance to have a happy life. You can help by offering financial support or by donating supplies. Here are some of the things they need: Grocery/Clothing Gift Cards, Baby Items, Canned Food, Cars, Property, Computers, Medical supplies, Clothing, Furniture, Bedding,

How You Can Help (pt. 2) Volunteer Your time is valuable. Give a little of it to help a family. It could be the best investment of your life. Benefits of Volunteering: - Contribute to your community - Change the life of a family in need - Meet people like you who care about making a difference - Change your life

Impact on People’s Lives Who We Are Helping Now: Baby Isabella Raquel Baby Isabella Raquel Knight was born 9 weeks early to a young single mother, Heather. Isabella Raquel was born with many birth defects, including a malformed spine, legs that are different lengths, malformed reproductive organs and digestive tracks, and other issues that have kept her in and out of the Children’s Hospital of Dallas. She is in need of constant care, and cannot undergo the necessary surgeries to correct her birth defects until she is at least 20 pounds (approximately age 2). Isabella Raquel’s maternal grandmother contacted the Petya I. Edwards Foundation for help. Isabella Raquel’s mother has been forced to quit her job to give the necessary 24 hour care to her infant daughter, and only has the help of the baby’s grandmother. The baby’s mother has remained optimistic, but both Baby Isabella Raquel and Heather desperately need financial and emotional support during this difficult time. The Petya I. Edwards Foundation has stepped in to help Baby Isabella Raquel and her mother Heather, but the Foundation needs the support of the local community. Help Isabella Raquel by donating today!

Impact on People’s Lives (pt. 3) We provide resources like education, life skills, financial management, and more to the families we serve. And because of the generous donations we receive, we are able to provide families with necessary items; like a vehicle to get to work, baby food and clothing, a child's bed, food, and medical care, and so much more. ber-214-909-2999
