WET ROOM TECHNIQUE (WITH VICHY SHOWER) Vichy shower, not towels, removes product Product washed from skin – client on table Plastic wrap protects sheets & blankets After shower, plastic removed plastic slipped from beneath while client rolls or, client steps off table while plastic taken off

BASIC 6-STEP WRAP PROCEDURE In wet room or dry room, same procedure: exfoliate first apply product wrap treat the head or feet while client is wrapped remove product with shower or towels apply finishing product

SEAWEED BODY WRAP PROTOCOL Preparation layer blanket, towel, sheet, plastic, & draping mix seaweed if reconstituted add 6–8 drops of essential oil blend place seaweed in spa bowl & warm wring out 4 hand towels & keep hot
SEAWEED BODY WRAP PROTOCOL Procedure 5–10 min. exfoliation (loofah, gloves, or brush) apply seaweed to back (client sits up or rolls) apply seaweed left leg (knee up, foot on table) lower leg to table & wrap in plastic repeat on right leg apply seaweed to abdomen & décolleté breast drape over chest

THALASSOTHERAPY BATH Applied in bathtub, jetted tub, or hydro tub Thalasso centers use fresh, warm seawater Most spas just add sea extracts to water 2–3x/week, 20+ total, 10–25 min., temp increases progressively

CELLULITE a normal condition created by deposits of subcutaneous fat within fibrous connective tissues, especially on the thighs, hips, and buttocks, that give a puckered and dimpled appearance to the skin

CONDITIONS CONTRIBUTING TO CELLULITE Growing fat cells push against the skin. Septa harden, holding skin down in spots. High estrogen levels weaken collagen. Fluid imbalances worsen cellulite. Poor microcirculation builds wastes.
CONDITIONS CONTRIBUTING TO CELLULITE (CONT.) Drugs and medications impact cellulite. Genetic predisposition comes into play. Poor diet contributes to growth of fat cells. Inadequate exercise = growth of fat cells. High stress levels negatively affect hormones, leading to more cellulite.
TREATING CELLULITE No treatment will eliminate cellulite; only temporary reduction in appearance To look better is an adequate goal. 1–2x/week,10–20 total, proper nutrition, exercise, 2 liters water/day, + home care Even athletes get cellulite. Liposuction will not reduce cellulite.
