NASAD Accreditation Update Site visit in Spring 2016 Received external evaluator’s report Overall positive evaluation Department has submitted its response Application is currently under consideration at the upcoming NASAD Annual Meeting

AACSB Accreditation Update Business Management Strategic Plan completed May 2016 Eligibility application submitted August 2016 AACSB Review Committee is meeting in November

Other College / School Concerns Budget planning process Most departments have met with the Provost at this point Department budget proposals due to Dean’s office in November Budget items outside of current allocations Strategic Enrollment Planning Departments will soon begin receiving forms Plan will be forwarded to Dean’s office Process to be completed before the end of this semester

Bylaws Change – Campus Promotion Committee Original bylaw required school representative to be a tenured full professor Now changed, must be a full-time faculty member of any rank holding continuing appointment Therefore, a call for nominations and the election of a School of Business Representative will take place immediately at the close of this meeting
