Case study; Ghana Some Facts Ghana is a LEDC (less economically developed country). It has a population of 20 million. There are some very wealthy people, however, millions live in poverty. About 6 million live in great poverty. Ghana is a former British colony. They are in the same time zone as the UK. They have a rich cultural history. They have many valuable natural resources. They are in millions of dollars in debt to MEDCs. KLL - 2014
