The Faith/Works Paradox Faith without works is dead. What is the point of workless faith? It is as good as thinking that saying something will make it so. It is powerless.
The Faith/Works Paradox Faith is seen through works. Show your faith without works. Faith is shown through works, not words. “Belief in God” is not enough – the demons do that and fear Him.
The Faith/Works Paradox Faith is proven through works. James does not contradict Paul in Romans 4. Faith is completed/matured by works. Abraham believed enough to act. Rahab believed enough to act. Faith without works is dead.
What does that mean to me? I need to memorize James 2:26
What does that mean to me? Am I counting on mere words to save me? Words without action is pointless. Words without action is powerless.
What does that mean to me? Can people see my faith? Have I been trying to show faith without works? Faith always determines action. Believing in God is not enough!
What does that mean to me? Do my actions prove I have faith? Do I believe enough to act upon it? Sunday morning faith is dead.
