New Strategies and Solutions for Helping Teachers Teach earobics New Strategies and Solutions for Helping Teachers Teach January 5, 2009 Facilitated by Amy Lack, Reading Coach

earobics We have Foundations software There are other components Foundations focus group is kindergarten to first grade It is also appropriate for special education and Pre-K

earobics Software designed to attack phonological and phonemic awareness Auditory foundation for blending and segmenting

earobics Instructional, not diagnostic We can use data from system of instruction

earobics earobics.jackson.k12.al.us No www or http Network only; not web based

earobics User name- last(first initial) Password- lastname We cannot use the same user name and password that we already have Don’t forget to logout every time

earobics Software defaults to beginning for all students. This can be changed but it is NOT recommended. When three correct answers are given in a roll, the program will advance the student on to the next task.

earobics When can we use it? Think outside the box Doesn’t have to be instructional time Use all opportunities

earobics Play activities as educator We can see Connections but we do NOT have it for students

earobics Members Only www.earobics.com User name and password Code: 9K3!d7A
