TALIBAN By: Jason

Why no schools and burquas Women must wear burqas because it is a corruptive force. The Taliban want women to be something they can control.

Silly Taliban laws. -Women must wear burqas -No music -Women can’t walk noisily -No pictures -Women can’t be educated -Women cannot work -Men must have beards

Bad things that have been done by the Taliban. They hit women with stuff, they kicked them and shot them. There were a lot of forced marriages not just by the Taliban. This is Malala, more on her later ->

More info! Taliban got into power in 1994. They were destroyed by the U.S. military in 2001. They sometimes use young homeless boys to turn into their soldiers. Taliban is not Al Qaeda although they have similar beliefs.

Malala Yousafzai. (Hope I got that right!) On her way to school a young girls bus was pulled over and someone barged in and asked to see her. When several other girls looked at her he pulled out a gun and shot her. She had been shot because she had been protesting women's rights. This is very sad but she is alive and hoping to go back home in Swat valley soon.

THANKSSSSSS!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!
