RISK SHOWDOWN Break class into 2 teams: One team is the Dangers team and the other is Safety Patrol The Dangers team is trying to come up with as many dangers as possible for each situation in the allotted time. The Safety Patrol is trying to come up with as many ways to prevent or clear up safety hazards as they can in the allotted time. After the time have the teams compare their results. If both teams address the same issue no points are awarded. If a team has a danger/ safety rule that the other team doesn’t have they earn a point. Write each entry on its own index card/ slip of paper At Showdown each team lays down card and if the other team has a counter point they put it on top of the other team’s card. Any unmatched cards are a point.
