About me Academic Advisor @ ERAU Attended the NACADA Academic Advising Summer Institute in 2013 500+ students, 300 active Top 5 for enrollments, retention, matriculation, graduation Spearheaded the “First-Year Experience” program which included Advisor Welcome Videos & Webpages, New Student Checklist, and First-Year Faculty List Admin for the Vice Chancellor of Online Education @ ERAU Project management – ERAU Online Promo Video, Recording Booths, Student Surveys/Assessment with Institutional Research Budget management – $1,000,000 budgets between 4 cost centers Event management – ERAU Online End of Year Conference (90+ attendance), Spring Retreat, Director’s Meetings, Holiday Potlucks (60+ attendance)  WEQC President 2017 – 20 member council that hosted 5 yearly events and addressed employee concerns/issues Mom-ager Two sons – Lennon (age 9) and Roman (age 5) Programs: MS Office/Office 365 MS Project MS Visio SharePoint Champion Adobe Connect Skype for Business Halloween 2017

Grant Overview 4-year grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) $999,962 grant total with $600,600 toward scholarships 82 scholarships of $5,500 for STEM Associate degree seeking students 22 scholarships of $6,800 for STEM Bachelor degree seeking students (final two years)

Purpose To see if the components of the scholarship program: Improve retention and graduation rates of scholarship program recipients compared to non-participants. Improve GPA and time to completion by scholarship recipients compared to non- participants Result in higher rates of job placement or transfer to additional post-secondary study by scholarship recipients compared to non-participants

Eligibility Requirements STEM major AA with STEM sub plan AS in Architectural & Building Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming & Analysis, Drafting & Design Technology (CAD), Electronics Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, Internet Services Technology, Network Systems Technology, and Simulation & Robotics Technology BS in Engineering Technology and Information Technology (Year 3 & 4 only) 3.0+ GPA Full-time enrollment Current FAFSA on file with Financial Aid Ability to attend required meetings throughout the semester

Required Meetings – Every Semester Student Orientation (1st Semester only) Introduce and Select Faculty Mentors Overview of participant and program expectations Sign agreement Receive schedule of events, tours, cohort meetings Three (3) Faculty Mentor meetings Three (3) Face-to-Face Cohort meetings/events Five (5) virtual cohort contacts/engagement (via social media, online classroom)

Scholarship Disbursement After Pell and Scholarship awards are applied to tuition and book vouchers, any remaining funds will be disbursed to student at the end of each semester. Any student failing to maintain eligibility will be placed on probation from the Scholarship Program and given one semester in which to return to full program status.
