Why Has Social Networking Become So Important? People can stay in touch easier Reconnect with people they used to know Find new friends Organizes events quickly and sends information to many people Businesses can advertise their products with less expenses Can be used to tell employers positive things about yourself People can reach for support Did You Know…? Advantages of Social Networking Social networks help police officers track down criminals who are too dumb to post there act online It helps people to make friends People can find/offer jobs for those in need It is more convenient to connect with others It is a convenient way of advertising products/information Did You Know…? 74% of people have used social networks to find a happy relationship which has lasted for a long time?
