UF/Lake Co Extension is a partnership between the University of Florida and Lake County Board of County Commissioners. Every county in Florida has an extension office. Our mission is to provide residents with research-based non-biased information in a variety of subjects. If you are on-line check out the new extension website– SolutionsforYourLife.com. I am in Family and Consumer Sciences, what people used to call the Home Economist. Our roles have changed over the years to include providing information on nutrition, health, financial matters, housing and disaster preparedness.
