Definitions: Theist – A person who believes that God or gods do exist. Atheist – “Without God”. A person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods. A person who does not believe that God exists. Agnostic – “Without Knowledge”. A person who cannot prove or disprove that God exists. It is impossible to know if God does or does not exist. Monotheist – Mono = “Single”, Theist = “Belief in God”. A person who believes in one God. Christianity, Judaism and Islam are monotheist although each one has a distinct view of God.
