DESCRIPTION CDC II is a low-cost portable case for effective, safe, and convenient drying of various agricultural commodities; It uses solar energy, which is the simplest and most economical drying method. With the use of CDC II agricultural commodities are guaranteed to be dried with minimum losses and without additional operational expenses; CDC II is specially designed for easier set up and operation. Made from woven coated PE which is twice as strong as ordinary tarpaulin and two times lighter than reinforced PVC, CDC II is easy to carry around. It has inflatable side walls made of PE tube; During night time or in case of rain, CDC II can be easily folded with the use of pulling straps. The heavy duty zipper and flap cover will prevent entry of moisture or water, protecting the commodity from moisture re-adsorption; and It is supplied with a foot pump, cloth duct tape and operating manual.

1 2 3 PROCEDURES SETTING-UP: Unfold and unzip CDC II and spread on a flat surface. 2 INFLATING THE SIDE WALLS: Manually inflate air tubes using the provided foot pump. 3 LOADING: Spread grains on the drying surface maintaining an average of 4cm commodity thickness.

4 REGULAR MIXING: Turn commodities every 30 minutes to achieve uniform drying with the use of wooden rake to prevent damage to the CDC II. 5 CLOSING THE CDC: In case of anticipated rain or at night, pull one end of the CDC II using the pulling straps to cover the commodities. 6 SEALING THE CDC: To close, pull the zipper key along the heavy duty zipper track and put the zipper cover in place.

7 UNLOADING: After the drying operation is done, scoop dry commodities using plastic or wooden ladle with no sharp edges. 8 KEEPING CDC: Clean CDC II before storage and fold properly to show the lifting straps. 9 STORAGE OF CDC: Store CDC II in elevated places and use Rodent Guards to prevent rodent attack.
