She is the Editor of the Health Information and Libraries Journal, the official journal of the Health Libraries Group and Chair of the 6th International Evidence Based Practice Conference (EBLIP6) to be hosted in Salford in 27th-30th June 2011 (http://bit.ly/9tt6j1). Her research interests include writing for publication, continuing professional development within the library and information science sector, nursing informatics, e-Health, enhancing practice through the investigation of optimal database searching - particularly in relation to qualitative research evidence - and systematic reviews. This lecture will also incorporate details of the type of health information and library research undertaken in the UK as part of the editorial perspective.
