WHAT WILLWE BE STUDYING? YARBROUGH'S YAK Weekly Question Can you identify the parts of speech for each word in the sentence below? (We have not learned them all, parents will have to help). Our Math Facts test will be taken on January 18. They will be expected to get 90%. This means 54 problems out of 60 in 4minutes. See inside of the Frog book.. Please work on only 10 words per night off the list. Complete Math Sheets every night. Wednesday~ NO HOMEWORK- FAMILY NIGHT Thursday: Please study sight words & word work words for tests tomorrow Specials SD1 - PE - Monday SD2 -Technology - Tuesday SD3 –PE- Wednesday SD4 -Art - Thursday SD5 – Music - Friday *Please remind your child to wear gym shoes on the day he/she has PE. Dear Parents, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed holiday season. There is much to accomplish in the coming weeks! The students will be expected to be more independent thinkers and will be taking all reading tests on their own. Some independence on reading items will transfer to other content areas as well. Please encourage your students to take their time and read carefully. They are ALL so smart, I don’t think this will be a difficult transition at all.
