In the beginning, there was a PLAN The ITS 5-Year Plan for Curriculum and Technology Support - the foundation to develop the CETL & the avenue for Library involvement The PLAN supports Strategic Planning 2012 initiatives: Strategic Goal #1 To create a technology support system for faculty and students to enhance teaching and learning outcomes - Strategic Goal #2 To establish a training and professional development program

As the PLAN unfolds Use of Portal and Blackboard for IL asynchronous training Building librarian skills to contribute to curriculum development and delivery Streamline library collection development through CETL Librarians responsible for Freshman Development Seminar courses Clearinghouse for faculty scholarly contributions Using Internet2 to supplement library resources
