Grading Procedures Weighted Categories in Campus 40% Summative Assessments 25% Formative Assessments 25% Participation, Practice & Perseverance 10% Final Exam   Assessments: This grade should reflect the student UNDERSTANDING of the CONCEPTS of Algebra 1. Demonstration of Skills: This grade should reflect the student’s skill level for the class. This category will include correctable content. Participation, Practice and Perseverance: In order for mastery to occur, these 3 P’s will have to be in place. There will be daily opportunities to earn credit in this category. Recovery of Credit: The goal of the course if for students to have mastery in all content. Sometimes that will happen on a test, sometimes it will happen AFTER a test.
