What is JOTA-JOTI? Scouts Engage in Conversations Across the Country and Around the World They Get a Glimpse of Other Cultures and Regional Differences They Get Exposed to Technology, Fun, and Magic

Largest Scouting Event in the World Nearly 1 Million Scouts Participate 150+ Countries Active Includes All Scouts Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts Third Weekend in October

Jamboree on the Air Amateur Radio used to communicate with other Scouts Uses all aspects of amateur radio from shortwave to local communication to satellites Requires a licensed operator Ham radio clubs are eager to provide support

Jamboree on the Internet Uses a computer and the Internet to communicate with other Scouts Online chat rooms hosted by ScoutLink Skype and social media Online games and challenges
