Engagement Priorities Year One – Achieved! Expanding podcast library 3-year engagement plans in place for priority cities/regions Calendar of key university events and lectureships created and promoted to alumni Life After Trent advisory committee to undertake review and make recommendations for growth and sustainability of program Coordinate new convocation ceremonies for Trent Durham grads Plan permanent alumni presence in new Student Centre
Engagement Priorities Year One – Achieved! Meet Alumni Student Centre challenge goals Include stories of donor and volunteer impact in TRENT magazine Implement plan for TUARP members, including a retiree tea held annually for new members
Communications Priorities Year One – Achieved! Launch new approach to TRENT magazine Achieve an annual budget in order to publish and distribute third edition of magazine in hard copy Introduce new website that is engaging and easier to navigate Develop a plan to increase the number of contactable alumni Launch redesigned electronic monthly newsletter, Alma Matters

Major Successes $100K donation from anonymous alumni; $50K to assist in the implementation of the strat plan and $50K for the Alumni Excellence & Engagement Endowment Fund 3-Year volunteer recruitment, development, and recognition plan well underway 4 alumni-designated external seats on TU BoG, up from 2 representative seats Increased and improved relationships between BoG, TUAA, and Alumni Affairs More strategic communications – online and in print
