Prints Prints can be simple or complex arrangements of lines and figures. Any prints- dots, stripes, plaids, ect- can have an interesting effect on your appearence

Prints Prints can make you appear bigger or smaller than you actually are. A shirt with a large, bold print, can make you look bigger than... A shirt with a small, delicate pattern can make you look smaller

Prints Prints can also emphasize certain facial/body features A dress with a border around the bottom hem can draw attention to your legs A printed collar (with a solid coloured shirt) can draw attention to your face

Texture Texture is the way a material looks and feels Example- Satin: smooth and slippery Example- Tweed thick and nubby

Texture and Illusions Texture can make you look slightly heavier or slimmer A bulky fabric would make you look heavier than a thin/smooth fabric would A cotton t-shirt would make you look slimmer than a heavy velour fabric
