Chronology 1 27.June 2017 Czech veterinary authorities inform BMGF about ASF outbreak in wild boar (80 km distance to the Austrian border) GoTo meeting with experts and stakeholders (pig industry, hunters,etc….) Information to EU commission about „Implementing measures in Austria in regard to ASF in CZ“

Chronology 2 28. June 2017 Implementation of at risk areas – VIS Regulation BGBL II 2017/ 167 Risk areas, biosecurity measures regarding hunting in at risk areas, sampling of wild boar carcasses, free-range pig husbandry is forbidden with exceptions according to Austrian swine health regulation, outdoor run is forbidden from dusk till dawn Edict BMGF -74700/0066-II/B/10/2017 Examination of all free-range pig farms and 10% of outdoor run farms in at risk areas (every 3 weeks) → swab samples
