Deployment Steps Review telemetry data collected from your machines with InfoSec or Compliance team in your company Setup the OMS workspace and link to Azure subscription (free or your company’s) Take note of your commercial ID Onboard a small sample (5-15) of machines (configure commercial ID and the proper telemetry level) Validate the insights and evaluate the value of the solution Plan for wider deployment across all of your machines

FAQs How much does Update Compliance cost? The service is available for licenses starting Pro and up. All Windows Analytics are “zero rated” within OMS log analytics; not charged, don’t count against data limits. Do I have to install any agent on my machines? No – the data collector is an in-box OS component. How much data is uploaded from my machines? 2MB during setup and subsequent delta is few KB What are the telemetry requirements for using Update Compliance? In order to use Update Compliance, your Windows 10 machines will need to have a telemetry level of ‘Basic’ or higher.
