Who are we? What do we do? We are the members of the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM) of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, sector 9 Faridabad. We are a team comprising of 30 young members and we try to instil humanity and goodness in the society by our charity works in the name of Lord. Previous main projects worked on- Funded kidney patients by the proceedings from the sports event that is conducted every year. Funded a child’s whole year education with the proceedings of a coupon system. Distributed food in the slum areas. Planted trees in the church to keep up with the nature.

History of this beginning. The first Annual Athletics Meet was conducted in 2016. A crowd of 100-120 were present. The venue was YMCA ground, Faridabad. 7 Orthodox churches from Delhi/NCR participated. We had 7 athletic events – 100m, 200m, 400m, 4*100m and 400*200m relay, long jump, shot put. Medals and trophies were given to the 1st, 2nd, and the 3rd position holders of each event. Best athlete (Male and Female) and best parish awards were also given away. We had a successful event with all the enthusiastic athletes showing their interests towards the sports events. The amount generated was donated to a kidney patient.

What’s new in 2017? Time – 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Date – 25th November’17 This time we have plans for a Bigger, Better and a more Sporty Meet. MORE SPORTS, MORE FUN! BIGGER, LITERALLY! WHY BETTER? Venue- Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi Cash prizes along with medals 9 sports events will be organised this time. More fun with band performance and food stalls. Open to all Delhi/NCR churches Expected crowd: 250-300
