FIRST CONDITIONAL To talk about possible or probable future events. To make promises and give warnings. SECOND CONDITIONAL To talk about hypothetical (imaginary and improbable) present and future situations THIRD CONDITIONAL To talk about hypothetical past events (events which did not happen).
