Welcome to the AET for Students How many of you have ever kept written records, like in a diary or journal? Why is it important to keep records and track your use of time and money? “Students: Welcome to The AET” VIDEO Let’s watch the first 5:34 minutes video play the first 5:34 minutes of the video, then pause.

Handout and review The “AET term list Review AET Terms Handout and review The “AET term list Let’s review AET terms (1) agricultural education (2) AET menus and (3) Financial terms and answer any student questions. I’ll give you and one partner to your right side 2 minutes to write a term and the definition. Also, providing an example for each entry to share with the class. For example – “SAE Cash Expense” and an example could be feed for my animal. An idea may be to have each student in the class read a term and the definition. Let’s Review our AET Terms Let’s make groups of two or the closest grouping possible. Using a handout or you can scan the code and review the “Student Quiz of AET Terms” Call on students popcorn style to answer the questions out loud regarding where to enter information. Use your Quiz Key as a reference
