Copper Ridge 7th Grade Field Trip
Important Information: TUES. 10/3 Departure: 3 Charter Buses from Copper Ridge at 11:00 pm on Tuesday night, October 3 May begin arriving at 10:30 pm – WEAR CLOSED-TOED SHOES! Look for chaperone names on signs posted on the fence along the bus lane Chaperone will give everyone a piece of yarn for each piece of luggage (2 max, + backpack). Luggage then gets loaded below bus. Students carry backpacks with them at all times (containing water bottle & sack lunch for ferry)
Wed. 10/4 Stop at Anaheim Hilton for breakfast (approximately 6:30 am) Board Catalina Classic Cruises - 1046 Queens Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90802 (by the Queen Mary at Long Beach Pier) at approximately 9:00 am Ferry to Two Harbors, CA – eat sack lunch on the ferry. Hike to Cherry Cove Orientation for students and chaperones Afternoon program Dinner Evening Program
Fri. 10/6 Thurs. 10/5 Rise & Shine! 7 am Rise & Shine! 7 am Breakfast @ 7:30 am Morning Program Hike to Two Harbors at approximately noon Box lunch (provided by CIMI) at Two Harbors Board Ferry at about 1:30 pm Arrive Long Beach Pier & board buses to depart (hopefully!) by 4 pm. Dinner stop at about 6 pm. Arrive Copper Ridge as close to midnight as possible! Rise & Shine! 7 am Breakfast @ 7:30 am Morning Program Lunch @ 12:30 pm Afternoon Program Dinner @ 5:30 or 6:00 Evening Program

FORMS 1. Hot Pink cover sheet – TEAR IT OFF and KEEP IT! Send all other pages back in to Mr. Kozimor 2. Green – SUSD Parent Permission for School Trip 3. Blue – SUSD MEDICATION FORM – EVERYONE MUST TURN THIS IN…even if your child will not need any meds. 4. Light Pink Student Health Form – Please read through carefully and complete all of the boxes.
MEDICATION STUDENTS MAY NOT CARRY MEDS! *except inhalers & EpiPens All medication must be provided by parent and turned in to Mrs. Boepple no later than Friday, 9/22 at 3:15. All medication must be in a Ziploc bag labeled in Sharpie with student name. All prescription medication must be in labeled pharmacy bottle. All OTC medications must be in original packaging.
