The adults in Year 6 Ash Class Teacher: Naomi Oak Class Teacher: George Link teacher: Chris, Helen HLTA: Hanife Year 6 TAs: Aasiyah, Cheryl, Christine, Nancy and Jodie Your child will be taught by this teaching team so will not always be taught by their class teacher. We teach children in smaller groups to make learning more personalised.

Homework in Year 6 Maths Number Superstars CGP books – these come with a support book English Daily reading Half termly spellings – tested twice Creative half term homeworks Linked to each half term’s topic Maths We will set homework from the CGP books on Thursdays and these will be due on Mondays. We do the Number Superstars test on a Monday. English Half termly spellings – tested in Week 3 and Week 7. Creative half term homework This will be given out at the end of the half term. This is very important to support independent learning.

Important dates! PE –Tuesday The children need to bring in their PE kits every week. Parents Meetings – w/c Monday 10th October TRIPS! We visited the Globe yesterday! We will also be visiting The Unicorn Theatre on 13.10.16.

Uniform reminder! Our uniform is: a gold/yellow polo shirt a navy cardigan, jumper or fleece grey, navy or black trousers, skirt or a dress (not jeans) dark shoes In the Summer, your child can choose to wear a blue or yellow gingham dress. Sandals are discouraged as they do not offer enough protection when playing in the playground. Children must not wear jewellery at school due to Health and Safety.   The uniform can be bought online by going to the school website and clicking on the ‘Parents/Carers’ tab.
