Outline What is a plug-in? Real life example: JTG 5-6 Save the plugin in the SEAMCAT directory Load it into SEAMCAT Using it in a simulation On-line help… Jukka Rakkolainen/ERO

What is a propagation plug-in? JAVA code where a user can defined its own propagation models. User-defined model work as fast as any in-built model. The plug-in has a .class format and his created using java language Jukka Rakkolainen/ERO

Real life example: JTG 5-6 As part of the ITU JTG5-6 activities, a propagation model was developed as plug-in to SEAMCAT. The plug-in (.class) and the source codes (.java) are freely downloadable from this page: http://seamcat.iprojects.dk/wiki/Manual/PropagationModels/JTG56

Save the plug-in in the SEAMCAT directory First select the correct path (i.e. SEAMCAT directory) where the .class file is to be saved on your computer.

Load it into SEAMCAT Open SEAMCAT and select library

Using it in a simulation New/open workspace Parameters are user selectable when needed
