Use Case 1: Innovations at Mori Village . Berkeley sought to innovate the way in which villages operate In collaboration with Berkeley, Mtuity developed a new way for shrimp farmers to protect their crop leveraging an edge device we never intended to use for aqua farming To further innovate, Mtuity teamed up with another BIF member Kaneka to try to solve the problem of powering our innovation

Use Case 2: Open Innovation on our Analytics Platform . Mtuity was developing a Smart City Analytics solution to provide cross functional analytics for most modules in a Smart City including Lighting, Parking, Water, Waste, Power, Safety and Security, and Environment Quickly realized there was no way we could cover all of the use cases on our own, but did not know what to do Through mentorship from the Garwood Center we decided to open up our platform to allow others to innovate along with us, including Berkeley engineering students
