Homework 100% - On time 50% - 1 Day Late 0% - 2 Days or More Late Starting this week there will be homework every night. Reading/writing home work will be assigned MOST nights (other than Vocab.) Vocab. Monday – All words (Sentences) Tuesday -½ of the words (Formal Def. & Pictures) Wednesday – ½ of the words (Formal Def. & Pictures) Thursday – All words (Synonyms) Friday – Read/listen to the next unit and use context clues to find a definition Quiz on Fridays!!!

Grading All assignments are to be done!! (The class knows we are here to learn NOT earn grades.) Homework 5 points Class Participation 2 points (each day) Quiz 25 points Tests/Projects 100 points Grades are put up on Friday at the end of the day.

The 5 P’s Be Prompt (Be on time, and not leave during class!) Be Prepared (Have materials ready!) Be Positive (Have a good attitude!) Be Productive (Do your work!) Be Polite (We are all on the same team here!)

Consequences… If any student does not meet classroom expectations, the consequences are as follows: 1. Verbal Warning 2. Lunch Detention 3. Referral to Vice Principal or Principal - If students have a total of 3 missing assignments I will either call/email you about the work.
