Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) S5/6 Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) are offering a programme of subject-based masterclasses for 5th and 6th year school students, introducing them to the variety of subjects studied at the College, ranging across the five Schools, Art, Design, Music, ESALA (Architecture and Landscape Architecture), and History of Art. The workshops are developed and delivered by leading academic staff and will allow insights into student life and study experience, as well as guidance about the wealth of career opportunities on offer in art institutions and special collections. The sessions emphasise hands-on experience and students will have the opportunity to discuss and get advice on their own works and/or portfolios, and to handle original works. SRUC - Scotland’s Rural College SRUC has six campuses which offer courses in a range of land based industries including Horse Management, Vet Nursing and Agriculture:- Aberdeen, Ayr, Barony (Dumfries), Edinburgh, Elmwood (Cupar, Fife), Oatridge (near Broxburn, West Lothian). Applications for Higher National Certificate (HNC) and Higher National Diploma (HND) courses, as well as degree courses, at all six SRUC campuses are made through UCAS.
