Presentation transcript:

To help make ITU’s history accessible to anyone, anywhere and at any time, we launched the History of ITU Portal in February 2010 and today the new and revised web site is up. The Portal has 3 different parts. The first part is giving access to the collections we have digitized over the years. The second parts gives us general facts and information about ITU’s activities in the past The third part focuses on the historic information about the sectors

To facilitate access to information about the 3 sectors of ITU – radiocommunications, stadardization and development – we created special focus pages were the information about the sector is centralized.

On the Focus page for Radiocommunications we brought together lists of events, documents, people and facts about the sector as well as some general background information about the history of the sector. www.itu.int/history/radio
