Be there by 1:45 Chaperones will have maps to follow
The whole Zoo
Front of the Zoo
The middle of the Zoo
The back of the Zoo where lots of animals are located!
Expected behavior No electronics are allowed on the trip. We will take any phones, iPods, etc. if we see them. You must carry all of your own belongings all day long. Do not expect chaperones to carry anything for you. Your groups must stay together with your chaperone all day long. Do not leave your group! Groups should discuss where to go and agree as a group which animals they most want to see. The little kid playground is not for middle school aged kids. Do not throw anything into animal enclosures or tap on the glass. These things can harm the animals. Walk safely and remember to be polite and respectful at all times! Be sure to apply sunscreen and drink lots of water during the day. Save your water bottles to refill at a drinking fountain. Enjoy yourselves (while being polite and respectful.)
If it rains you can keep walking around. If you get cold there are several indoor buildings spread throughout the zoo to go inside for a few minutes. (penguins, butterflies, birds, reptiles, amphibians, arctic, etc) If there is thunder and lightning you MUST go inside the nearest building until the storm clears.
