Richard Paul Evans lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, Keri, and their five children the #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than twenty-five novels. There are currently more than 20 million copies of his books in print worldwide He has won many literary awards for his novels In 2011 Richard began writing Michael Vey, a #1 New York Times bestselling Young Adult series which has won multiple awards 4 of his books have been made into movies Richard is the founder and Chairman of the Christmas Box International, an organization that provides shelter and care for abused and neglected children 

Michael Vey: The Final Spark is the 7th and LAST book in the Michael Vey series comes out September 12th! During his visit, Richard Paul Evans will be speaking about the series, but he usually tends to focus on the main character and why he chose to write the series  Richard and his son both have Tourette syndrome, which involves uncontrollable repetitive movements or unwanted sounds (tics), such as repeatedly blinking the eyes, shrugging shoulders, or blurting out words Michael Vey, the lead character in the book series, also has Tourette syndrome, which Richard uses to delve into subjects like bullying, self-respect, and acceptance  He will be holding an in-store speaking engagement and signing at the Boise Barnes & Noble Wednesday 9/13, from 7:00pm-10:00pm.  Anyone who would like books signed are welcome to bring them from home or purchase them on-site for Richard to sign during this evening event
