Character Playlist Project Due Date: December 10

Character Playlist Project You will be making a compiled playlist of songs that represent each of the character words and have a good message, meaning, and several examples of figurative language. Choose songs that you wish to analyze and look more closely at the lyrics. Each song needs to be school appropriate within the genre of your choice.

How many songs? Your playlist will contain 8 songs total. One song for each of the following character words: Integrity Empathy Trustworthiness Humility Moral Courage Fairness Compassion Perseverance

Create a Presentation! For each song: Song titles and artists Lyrics (www.azlyrics.com) Explain what is the meaning of the song? Is there a theme? What is the writer’s message? What is the mood/tone of the song? Which character word does it relate to and how? Identify and explain 5 types of figurative language. (Simile, Metaphor, etc.)
