The five days are over and you are waving WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE LAST DAY OF ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP? The five days are over and you are waving goodbye. You know that this week changed lives, but you ache to do more for your campers. For RFK counselors and staff, this is the toughest moment of all. Now there IS something more you can do to help abused children heal. Find out how your church can create a safe mentoring program for your RFK campers during the school year by attending Club Training Institute! Two dates are currently on the calendar: September 19-21, 2013 January 09-11, 2014 Midland, MI Santa Ana, CA PRE-REQUISITE: A church or organization that has sponsored Royal Family KIDS Camp for at least two years may enroll a minimum of two experienced RFKC volunteers in the Club Training Institute. Starting the club will require two primary leaders, a Mentoring Director and a Club Coordinator, to head up your team of mentors and club staff. Mentors meet 4 hrs. each month with their matched child + a monthly Club meeting (Sept-May). COST: The $375 per person tuition includes conference meals, Leadership Manual, Mentor Manual, Program CDs, RFK Polo Shirt, Club Seal, Mentor Certification/Photo ID card, etc. PLUS an on site visit to a local club to see club staff, mentors and club kids in action. SCHEDULE: Attendance at all Institute Sessions is required to receive the RFK certificate. Training Registration begins at 1 p.m. on Thursday and about 4:30 pm on Saturday training ends. REGISTRATION: Limited enrollment Contact Summer Mavis at (SummerM@Royalfamilykids.org) or 714.438.2494 to request an application form or ask any questions. Completed application form and church check for payment must be received in Santa Ana 7 weeks before training begins.
