Delegation Delegation is the process by which responsibility and authority for performing a task (function, activity, or decision) is transferred to another individual who accepts that authority and responsibility.

Authority, Responsibility and Accountability Authority is the right to act or empower. Responsibility is one’s obligation to accomplish a task. Accountability is the act of accepting ownership for the results or lack of it.
