Jesus – God AND man Colossians 1:15 -  The Son is the image of the invisible God.  Colossians 1:19 - God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him. Hebrews 1:3 - The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being. Philippians 2:6-7 - … who, being in very nature God,…made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

God’s glory shows up as miracles John 2:11 – [After changing water to wine] What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.  John 11:40 – [After raising Lazarus from the dead] Then Jesus said, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?’

God’s glory shows up as grace Exodus 33:18-19 – Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” 19 And he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The Lord.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy… Exodus 33: 21-23 – Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand on the rock, 22 and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by.23 Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall not be seen. For no one can see my face and live.” Exodus 34: 6-7 – The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness [=truth], 7 keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin
