Post selection orientation Activities built onto what FEs already have Life milestones Individual assets: social commitment Reminding FEs why they were selected Sharpening Personal Statement and Study Objectives essays 3. Post fellowship phase Alumni meeting: individual assets survey At least one year later: Interview Questionnaire on Origin, Journey, Return Social change impact, continued hopes and dreams 4. Three + years after return ??? Depends on: Social-economic, political conditions in the country -- open more space for fellows to engage in strengthening civil societies Social changes taking place which opens more doors for fellows to take part at levels of influencing social policies
