9th Grade Course Selection (Page 13) 9th Graders can take 2.5 credits of electives. However, many students want to take 3.0 credits. (For example, 1.0 credit of Band, 1.0 credit of Foreign Language, and 1.0 credit of Seminary) *Note: No credit is awarded for Seminary, but it does take up 1.0 credit of space in a student’s schedule Taking 3 credits of electives will not fit into the student’s schedule.

9th Grade Course Selection To accommodate 3 credits of electives, Students can take 9th grade PE (PST) online or over the summer. Look for information on how to do this at registration time. Now 3.0 Elective credits fit into the schedule because PST was taken online or over the summer. If the student is taking seminary, another option is to take early morning seminary for one semester.
